You wake up and open your eyes, what is the first thing that comes to mind? You draw your first conscious breath. This is life, the ability to love, think, grow, hunger, struggle, fight, and conquer.
What is your greatest enemy? Think and pause and think again. One answer, one word is all you get to respond with. The answer is …. YOU! Yes, it’s you and how you see will determine how you experience life. The monster or beast is within you. This ‘self-destructive beast’ who hates, is selfish, contrary, finicky, weak, indecisive, ugly, bitter, and the list goes on is you. The ‘inner-beast’ causes most of the mental illnesses, crimes and diseases in the world. Think about it, now think about you.
In life you will have circumstances that you see as destructive and you will have to learn how to conquer and live in peace. Living in peace means living in peace with yourself! We cry for world peace, let it begin within you. Do you know why you don’t have peace with your relationships? You don’t have inner peace. Do you know why you don’t feel and have real love? You don’t have love inside you so you don’t love you. You feed the inner beast with jealousy, envy, strife, bitterness, resentment, hate toward your love ones and enemies. You can hate someone only when you are filled with hate. You can only give out what you are filled with.
When you are filled with love and peace; you are at peace and love yourself and everyone around you. You are the epitome of innocence and purity living life to the fullest. You are whole and not broken. When you are filled with all the negatives you crack. You are not design to carry such weight. You eventually leak on others your self loathing hate, pain, depression and etc. So, you self medicate with the easiest, most available substances or people to repair your cracks. Well, this short term repair and patching causes you to break and break loved ones filling them with your poisons.
What is the answer? Love! Where, and who is the source of Love? JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!
John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
17For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
1 John 4:10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.
11Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another.
12No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!
GOD IS LOVE, LOVE CONQUERS ALL…
