Your Tomorrow Begins with How You are Thinking Today (2)

We left off from the last blog telling us that when we believe something it will cause us to speak. Thinking and believing are closely related. What you believe will determine how and what you think.

Hebrews 11:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)

6But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

Believing is of the heart and the basis of faith. An example would be: You believe it’s going to rain so you mention to someone. It may or may not rain, the issue here is that you have a belief system (written facts on a subjects known as words) on how to conduct your thinking (believing) and speaking. The clouds look the same way (Cumulonimbus clouds) it did the last time it rained or you read it. The information about clouds are written in text books in school that you learn, heard (taught) from your instructor, tested on and talk about. This is exactly like the verse:

Romans 10:17

Amplified Bible (AMP)

17So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).

You are born to have faith. You hear something so many times you learn to have faith in it and then you identify with it. You become part of that group and you have the credentials to prove it, like diplomas, degrees, fan clubs, etc.. The world has a ‘belief system’ that you have faith in too, so does ‘individual cultures’ that may or may not contradict the Word of God.  When it does contradict the Word of God it is negative. Yes, it is negative; the Word of God made everything you see, and man formed an opinion on everything you see. So, who has the greater knowledge, the one who created it or the one who thought about it and formed his opinion. Refer to the following scriptures below.

Romans 12:3

Amplified Bible (AMP)

3For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.

Hebrews 1:2

Amplified Bible (AMP)

2[But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order].

The following scripture shows exactly how pledges are made to different organizations THAT YOU HAVE FAITH IN. Where do you think they got it from? THE WORD OF GOD!

Romans 10:10

Amplified Bible (AMP)

10For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

I will continue next time on part three.
