Love is Defined by Actions

You are Loved by the Best, 'GOD.'

We all talk about ‘LOVE’ instead of just doing ‘LOVE. Yes, it is good to hear you are ‘loved’, but expressing and feeling ‘LOVED’ is more defining. It is the parameters and scope of your very being. If I am ‘LOVED’, then ‘I can do…. I can be… I will…’ it’s unlimited potential. Notice how love is in the present? I can not live on ‘past love’ or ‘future love’; I’m no longer in the past and I have not arrived in the future. That is why individuals of long termed marriages will die shortly after the death of their spouse. So, when you put off that hug because you hugged her this morning; that’s ‘past love.’ The moment is not guaranteed to come again. Well, I shall hug her tomorrow, today might be your last day.

1 Corinthians 13:1

¹IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God’s love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Being ‘LOVED’ tells me who I am, where I am headed, and how to get there. Love fulfills my destiny in life. Our existence as social beings gives us order when we are loved. Love imparts more than feelings, or mere emotions. It is the quest to express your very being to life itself. I am… because I love, I will… because I love. Denying love is like denying a person the very air they breath. Denying love to oneself is suicide and death when love is denied to someone else.  Denying love is one of the worst forms of abuse.

1 Corinthians 13:3

³Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned orin order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing.

Love is not calculating or manipulating, it is purposeful, meaningful, selfless, and spiritual.

1 Corinthians 13:5

⁵It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].

Love defines your actions for yourself and whoever. Love reveals who you really are. So, if you say you love someone, then you love what they love and you respect what they respect.

1 John 4:8

⁸He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.

Love is your Glory, your opinion of yourself, shown only by your actions which says how you think, what you think, and who you are.

In short your ‘do’ is your glory, an outward expression or out-raying, the radiance of your beliefs and what you hold so dear. So, when you fall short of this Glory it is covered and expressed by God’s Glory (LOVE) and another person’s glory when they all forgive you.

¹⁰In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

Love is the opinion of ones self being personified through the actions of ones beliefs and thoughts. I’m loved therefore I love. (Sounds a lot like Jesus, because it is Jesus.)

Hebrews 1:3

He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, theout-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high,
