A Thankful Challenge for You, ‘Day # 4′

Thankful
Thankful

You might have seen some of the challenges going around Social Media; I wanted to jump in on the bandwagon for blogging them. I think it is a good medium to express how you feel and I’m feeling thankful. I want to stretch myself and live a ‘Thankful Life’ because life is just too short.

2 Corinthians 9:11 (KJV)

11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Being favored through God’s Grace causes you to be Thankful and being Thankful causes God’s favor to Grace you.

You are nominated to bring God’s Favor on you through being Thankful! Yes, you are nominated for ‘The Thankful Challenge.” That includes everybody, SO DON’T WORRY ABOUT BEING LEFT OUT. You to post five days of thankfulness on Instagram, Facebook, Blogs and every type of Social Media. You can even post in the comment section of this blog. Then nominate three people each day. Let’s set Social Media a blazed with being thankful.

Start a move of God’s Favor through His Holy Spirit by creating an atmosphere of thankfulness. The act of thankfulness is merely giving thanks or thanksgiving for what you have received and God has promised you.

Day #4 – I am so Thankful for my four beautiful, intelligent daughters who love the Lord with all of their heart. God really blessed me too; they have never given be a day of trouble. Now they aren’t perfect but they have always been obedient to God therefore they have been obedient to me. I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom with them. They helped me to see and know God and the world from their varied perspectives of learning and loving. I taught about God by reading the bible to them when I carried them in the womb. God was in everything that we did and we gave Him the Glory. Because of this they have scored 99 to 100% on standardized testing. I won’t embarrass them by bragging. But my brag is on the Jesus in them.

The Glory of God’s Bouquet…

Moriah, you will always be my precious flower...
Moriah, you will always be my precious flower…

Do you realize that you are a part of God’s beautiful bouquet that ‘feels and fills’ the earth. (no typo) Yes, that’s who you are. I had arranged many beautiful flowers yesterday to fill my home with life. I placed them in all over. I placed them in the living room, dining room, at the wet bar in the hallway, the family room and the kitchen. My daughter walked in later that day and smiled with tears in her eyes. She said, ‘Momma the flowers make me smile.’ She went from room to room smiling. What a way to end a workday… with joy… Seeing her joy made my eyes tear up watching my daughter beam with sunshine, joy and love. My daughter was my flower that day, bright and beautiful feeling my heart with love and joy… Now you understand ‘the feel and fill’ analogy.

You are God’s flower to the world an object of living beauty filling every heart with love. A flower does not get to choose where he grows. It could grow in a sidewalk crack waiting to be picked. By the chubby little fingers of a toddler to express the love she has to her Momma. The toddler had found the most beautiful flower in the world… a dandelion… How precious it was crumbled by the feet of the pedestrians and missing most of it’s petals. The fragile dandelion all broken up still found a place of love in the heart of a child who shared it with her Momma. That toddler was my daughter who was taught to see and feel the love in all the aspects, wonderment of God…

Psalm 103:6-18

The Message (MSG)

6-18 God makes everything come out right;

My little flower all grown up...
My little flower all grown up…

he puts victims back on their feet.
He showed Moses how he went about his work,
opened up his plans to all Israel.
God is sheer mercy and grace;
not easily angered, he’s rich in love.
He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold,
nor hold grudges forever.
He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve,
nor pay us back in full for our wrongs.
As high as heaven is over the earth,
so strong is his love to those who fear him.
And as far as sunrise is from sunset,
he has separated us from our sins.
As parents feel for their children,
God feels for those who fear him.
He knows us inside and out,
keeps in mind that we’re made of mud.

Blooming Moriah...
Blooming Moriah…

Men and women don’t live very long;
like wildflowers they spring up and blossom,
But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly,
leaving nothing to show they were here.
God’s love, though, is ever and always,
eternally present to all who fear him,
Making everything right for them and their children
as they follow his Covenant ways
and remember to do whatever he said.

GOD IS LOVE & LOVE CONQUERS ALL

MUCH LOVE
