There Is A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing

gena To those of you who have questioned my faith and challenged my beliefs I respectably respond. I have a calling on my life that is bigger than me, than what I can even imagine. I don’t ask that you follow me but follow Jesus Christ and His teaching even when it challenges friendships and what people think of you. You are probably wondering what is this is about? In short it is about Donald Trump who has trumped the faith of Christians. The Word of God is my foundation and the foundation of all followers of Christ. I do not support Donald Trump and I still follow Jesus Christ.

I prayed in regards to Donald Trump when he first made a decision to enter into the     Republican race for its nominee. Unlike many Christians I allow God to make my decisions. I was quite concerned when a video surfaced with well-known Christian evangelists praying over Donald Trump for president. My concern was why were they not praying for this man’s soul salvation rather than the presidency? Was he not worthy of God’s Love, and salvation? Why would such men and women of God ignore this and not address his great issues and how could you let this go unchallenged? Well, this is what I received in prayer. Some of God’s people wanted a man/puppet that they could control. They wanted to make themselves known and God did not give them Donald Trump; they chose Donald. Just like the children of Israel who wanted a King and God said He wanted to lead them. So God allowed them to have Saul. They chose Saul out of his worldly appearance rather than his relationship with God. Well, we know Saul fell and David a man after God’s own heart was chosen by God to be King.

1 Samuel 8:4-9 (AMP)

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramahand said to him, “Look, you have grown old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint us a king to judge us [and rule over us] like all the other nations.”But their demand displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge and rule over us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. The Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them. Like all the deeds which they have done since the day that I brought them up from Egypt even to this day—in that they have abandoned (rejected) Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. So now listen to their voice; only solemnly warn them and tell them the ways of the king who will reign over them.”

People are putting their trust in Donald Trump rather than God. Verse 7 of first Samuel ( The Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them.) God said there were two kingdoms on the earth, His Kingdom of God and the world’s kingdom. Look at the following verses to see the dual kingdoms on the earth.

Luke 11:20 (AMP)

20 But if I drive out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (AMP)

among them the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

God’s people have been blinded by the world and it’s corruption of hate, greed, racism, and pride.

God has made provision to save the world and it is His Son Jesus! Donald Trump is the wolf in sheep clothing. Donald Trump says he does not need forgiveness of sins. He has created an alternate pathway to God and he is leading people astray. Salvation is through the work of the cross through God’s Son Jesus; we receive/accept the forgiveness of our sins. The death/burial/resurrection on the cross was for the debt of our sins so we can have the righteousness of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21.) This changes a person’s mindset, how they believe and how they conduct their life.

Donald said this about his sins, “I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.” This is found at http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/18/politics/trump-has-never-sought-forgiveness/ Do I blame Donald Trump for his words? NO! I blame the ones who spent the time praying their will over him instead of leading him to Jesus Christ and what that entails.

We are so concerned about the great falling away in the last days; it is here many of you have lost your faith…

Matthew 24:8-13 (KJV)

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Am I judging Donald’s behaviors? Yes!… I’m judging his fruits (Luke 6:43-45 (NKJV)

A Tree Is Known by Its Fruit

43 “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

James 3:14 (KJV)

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.)

Does Donald act like a follower/disciple of Christ?… because you are following him… The real answer is found in this verse. If you are following Donald you are not a follower/disciple of Jesus Christ!

John 13:35 (AMP)

35 By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”

God does not make mistakes…people make mistakes…
